Springtime, horseback archery time

I already have a hematoma on the inside of my elbow, which means the archery season is back.

It didn’t entirely stop in winter, but if, like me, you’re not skilled enough to shoot in the dark without losing all the arrows in the bushes, then archery in winter is limited by daylight hours.

So it was the first time after 4 months that I had time for archery during daylight hours. Daylight saving time helped with it, so now it really feels like spending half a day outdoors even if it happens after standard working hours.

It was 4 degrees Celsius outside, but April sunshine makes you ditch the coat, at least until 6 pm. Photo by Anna Sterczyńska, Kawalkada Horseback Archery, of human writing this article.

Horseback archery looks amazing in the photo. But if you’re juggling multiple topics at work (and life, but that’s not really applicable in my case), even if you’re shooting a target that’s 50 centimeters away from your leg, you can still miss it. I’m missing it. I could throw the arrow into it, probably even directly stick it into the target with my hand, but somehow life makes it hard for me to do it successfully. But in the photo, everything looks nice.
