Can somebody explain YouTube shorts to me?

Okay, I don’t create the best content there, but I least I want a consistent 0 views

I’m no social media manager or someone at least slightly proficient in different platforms. I publish my bird recording stuff regularly on YouTube, SoundCloud and Spotify, sometimes I write on Medium.

Out of boredom, I’ve created a couple of YouTube shorts from already published content, and I was absolutely surprised by one thing.
