3 Best Articles I’ve Read on Medium in May
Give them a read!
--
Springtime means birds and birdwatchers become more active. The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and the breeding season starts, making birds more visible even if you don’t own a pair of binoculars. And new bird encounters inspire more people, who sometimes are willing to share their experiences on Medium.
Here are three subjectively chosen articles that I’ve particularly enjoyed during the previous month. Enjoy!
The Loons Are Back After Falling From The Sky by Carol Labuzzetta
Birds falling in from the sky seems apocalyptical and something you’ll only see in the movies — but it actually does happen, and Carol Labuzzetta explains when this could be the case.
Splish, Splash, a Hummingbird Taking a Bath by Erika Burkhalter
A short piece focused around one photograph — I’m including it here maybe because I have no chance to see a hummingbird where I live, and they seem like a colorful bubble of joy.
MY WEEKEND BUDDY…. by Nikhil Pradip More
Photos taken by Nikhil deserve a shout-out, especially when you’re trying to spot such an evasive and well-camouflaged species like the Indian eagle owl.
